Partners in Crime

Fellowship Studios has been busy as of late, securing new leads, working with a wide range of couples and establishments, and preparing to enter a PACKED second half of the year, filled to the brim with events and new developments for our company.

However, one of those newest developments just dropped this past weekend that I would like to shine the limelight on for just a second: that is our brand new partnership with Bird's Eye Visuals.

Bird's Eye Visuals, owned and operated by Alayna Altland of Millersburg, PA, is a photography and graphic design company aimed at the creation of high-quality content with a deep emphasis on making a client's experience both fun and fulfilling.

Sound familiar? That's where we realized our businesses could really work well together.

Long Lost Cousins

If we're being honest, Alayna and myself are actually cousins, though, throughout our lives, we have not often spent time with nor seen one another outside of the long-past reunion when we were kids. My memory is good, but even those reunion times seem hard to remember.

But in a recent turn of fate, Alayna interned at our family's business in Mechanicsburg and we started talking. The passions for photography and videography were expressed, as well as the desire to make both of the separate ventures more established and fulfilling than ever. Until finally, the lightbulb was mutually lit: what if we partnered up?

When we talked about it in hindsight, Altland admitted her initial worry:

"To be honest, when [Dylan] first came to me with this idea, I got nervous," stated Altland. "My business is not anything big like Fellowship Studios has become, and I've only been in this field for a little over a year. I can't help but feel truly honored at this opportunity, not only to grow in my business, but to also grow in fellowship with an amazing friend."

And that's basically the crux of it. Over the past several months, the two of us have been planning and building up a package that will offer clientele not only the signature video prospects of Fellowship Studios but also the solid photography skills of Bird's Eye Visuals, all for an affordable price. Because those memories deserve to be captured and remembered for decades to come.

Beyond the Crux

But here's the thing: as in all of our other ventures, packages, and exploits, our mission still stands. The partnership with Bird's Eye Visuals is a major step forward into something new, but rarely in our world is such a step taken as mutual partners. And this is why we are so thrilled to announce this.

Usually, such an obligation between separate entities would be ridden with red tape, contracts, legal barriers, subcontracting restrictions, workload imbalance, pricing estrangement, and the list goes on. But in partnering with the entities around us, and lifting one another to the communities that surround us, we aim to not only help one another, but increase the quality and benefit that is seen by the clients coming our way.

In all this, we can't wait to see where this adventure leads, and we look forward to having you join us as a part of it!
